Lung Cancer Surgery - Thoracotomy

Surgery means generally to give a therapy to non-small cell lung cancers. This lung cancer is restricted to one lung and does not stretch to other parts of the body. Thoracotomy is a procedure where a cut is made on one side of the lung (chest) to cure lung cancer surgery, avoiding chest and spinal cord areas.

Depending on the size, type the lung cancer surgery is performed at that particular location between the ribs. During the lung cancer surgery the most important precautions to be taken are a patient should not smoke or drink during and pre surgery. The air passage through the lungs should be regular in order to remove all the lung disorders.
